The oceans cover more than 70% of our world. They are integral to the health of our planet and everything that lives here. But our oceans are dying, and we are to blame.
After making this realization, and having a real passion and desire for entrepreneurship, I have created a company that I believe has the power to change how business and environmental conservation work together.
Life to me is about more than money, it is about more than success. After running my business for 4 years I am making more and more money, but feeling less and less fulfilled. True fulfillment for me comes from making an impact that is greater than myself, that is sustainable and inspiring….that at the end of the day I can look back and know that I grabbed life by the horns and took it on.
Only now that I am beginning to make a difference for our oceans do I feel like I am taking on life.
United By Blue is my company. For every product we sell, we remove one pound of trash from our oceans and beaches around the world through organized beach cleanups.
